You can use your computer for lots of fun things – on and off the internet. One of the exciting things you can do on the internet is to play games, on your own or with people from all over the world. Lots of people like to make new friends on the internet. They can go on sites where you can talk to people who like the same things. In this area you can find out what is cool on your computer and also how to use it in a safe way.

What is Cyber Bullying?
Cyber bullying (online bullying) is when a person or a group of people uses the internet, email, online games or any other kind of digital technology to threaten, tease, upset ot humiliate someone else.
How can I stop Cyber Bullying?
Sometimes it can seem like Cyber bullying will never end, but there are some things you can do to make it stop. Nobody has to go through online bullying alone and often the first step in stopping it is to tell someone about it, Think about talking to an adult you trust. They can help you report the cyber bullying and give you more confidence to deal with the situation. You might want to talk to a parent, carer, family member or teacher.
How do I stop bullying on social networking sites?
Social networking is a great way to have fun and keep up to date with your friends, but sometimes people use social networks to be abusive or nasty towards other people. Getting bullied on a social network can be really upsetting, so it’s important to block and report anyone who bullies you. Set up a safe profile is a really important part of social networking. Learn how to deal with bullying on sites like Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Tumblr, YouTube and many more. Remember you must be 16 to have a social networking accounts like Facebook.
Who can I talk to?
If you feel upset about anything you have seen on the computer or if someone has said something which makes you feel bad or funny inside – you need to tell you mum, dad or whoever looks after you at home. If you want to talk to someone else you can call Childline, which is a place where people who are nice can help you, They won’t tell anyone that you have called and it’s free. You can phone them on 0800 1111. You can also talk to your teachers if anything is upsetting you and they will help you. The most important thing is to remember to tell a grown up you like and trust if you are unhappy or scared about anything.
